Florence: Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens

Our friendly concierge told us the one of the best view of Florence was atop the Boboli Gardens, behind the Pitti Palace. So we braved the midday sun and took a medium sized hike up the gardens. We were sweating, sunburnt, and tired but definitely not disappointed. Not a bad way to start off in Florence.
