We had a bit of a problem with our train tickets and ended up being rerouted to Milan for the day. Having not read up on anything “Milan”, we were completely clueless on where to go or what to see. We wandered around the city aimlessly for a bit, taking in the beautiful buildings and people (wink wink ladies).
Then somehow made our way to one of the most famous sites in Milan, the Milan Cathedral or Duomo di Milan.
As beautiful as the cathedral’s exterior was, it was nothing compared to how peaceful and calming it was inside. The chaos from the pigeons, vendors, and tourists all fade away the minute you step inside.
