I was in Singapore’s budget terminal by 5:30 am. With my foggy, sleep-deprived brain I managed to check in and find some breakfast. Despite its name, the budget terminal is surprisingly well equipped. They had food, shopping, even sleeping facilities all open at 5:30 in the morning.

By the time my flight was boarding I was well fed and ready for some sleep. The pilot announced some minor delays due to the rain, I looked out my window, snapped my last photos of Singapore, and happily drifted off to sleep.

By the time I woke up we were in Cebu. Ah, sunny Cebu how I missed you.

That mountain in the distance peaking over the clouds really caught my eye. Couldn’t help thinking what the view must be like from over there!

3 hours in the air and I was home. Hello, Cebu. Did you miss me?

I’ve lived in Cebu my whole life and I’ve never seen the city covered in fog. Then again I’ve never been up at 5am to look outside my window before either. Good morning, Cebu!

P.S. taken with my iPhone edited on instagram :)

I love discovering new things, eager to travel and find new adventures I sometimes forget there’s still so much of Cebu I still never seen. Which is why finding travel blogs and websites dedicated solely to getting to know more about Cebu is such a treat.

This great site, ZeroThreeTwo, I heard about from Sabs. It’s all about Cebu and everything that makes my little bit of the world awesome. They talk about where to eat (and I actually like their selection of restaurants), what to check out, and other interesting tidbits.

Another Cebu travel blog that you want be sure to check out is Where the Blog. Get the backpackers perspective on where to go and what to see outside of the city. What I love about this blog is that you don’t just get the story, which is fun on its own, but you also get a breakdown of all your options: where to stay, what to do, where to eat etc. They are so detailed and so fun, it has become my go to site whenever I want to plan a trip nearby.

When I took this picture, the garden’s caretaker told me this flower is called a caterpillar… or a dragonfly… something like that, I can’t really remember. Either way it’s pretty :)

Anyways, it seems I’ve upset Boogie with her picture from my previous post.

To make peace I thought you all should know, she doesn’t normally look like this. She usually looks more like this:

Happy Boogie? :D
