Of Girly Things: Croissant Bun

One of my new favorite hobbies seems to be scouring YouTube for hair tutorials. I tried out this 5 Minute Hairstyle (which my sister-in-law has dubbed the croissant bun) and to be honest, it took me wayyy longer than 5 minutes to do.  When I finished it looked a little too dressy to me, so I messed it up a little, pulling out strands and trying to make it look more “effortless”. The hardest part was keeping the headband from sliding up and off my head, but once I worked that out it was so easy and definitely worth the try.

How to: Low Braided Buns

My hair was not being cooperative and I decided to try out something new. I call this the Princess Leia do, it’s not exactly the cinnamon bun hair-do but it definitely reminds me of it. The best part is, it’s super easy to do.

1. Divide your hair into three low sections.

2. Braid each section seperately.

3. Twist (wrap/curl) each braid into a bun and pin in place.

And voila, that’s all it takes! Try it and lemme know what you think x
