Kryz Uy’s Christmas Bokeh Portrait. Taken at Dahilayan.
Wow, it’s been awhile. Sorry for the long absence but I’m backkk and with so much to share.
First of, I was thinking of making a Christmas bokeh tutorial. I know, I know, it’s been done before. But it’s really just a pretty effect. And whenever I see photos like this (see above) I get all warm inside. So if this is something you’d like to see, hit me up in the comments and I’ll put something together.

And in WAGW news, the holiday season is always my busiest. I’m happy to announce that WAGW now has it’s very own website! Be sure to check it out: shopwagw.com. While you’re there check out the new Holiday issue we’ve just published. Featuring our Young Ambassadors of Style from Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.
Wow, I’m sleepy. It’s 9 in the evening and all I can think of is how much I want to crawl into bed and call it a night. I feel old. But I’m fighting my inner manang (read: old woman) and I’m going out for cupcakes and other food of that nature.
These were taken in a small bakeshop called Cupz n’ Cream, delicious treats baked by Gayle Urgello. Not where I was tonight but in my quest for dessert, it seemed relevant.
Apologies for the discrepancies in time. When I started this it was indeed 9PM, but my connection was bad and my need for sweets – strong.

Gorgeous (or willing) model (whichever one you have access to), an idea, and a supportive team. That’s all your really need for a good shoot. This was a great shoot, I had 3 (not one but three!) gorgeous and willing models and I was working with the creative genius of Edric Chen and Kryz Uy. We had this shoot months and months ago but I haven’t been able to post it until it was released in stores. More from this shoot through out the week. :)
Missing having trees and gorgeous flowers everywhere. :(
Also, I have the biggest craving for kimchi flavored potato chips. Any ideas where I can get some?
When I took this picture, the garden’s caretaker told me this flower is called a caterpillar… or a dragonfly… something like that, I can’t really remember. Either way it’s pretty :)
Anyways, it seems I’ve upset Boogie with her picture from my previous post.
To make peace I thought you all should know, she doesn’t normally look like this. She usually looks more like this:
Happy Boogie? :D
