Summer’s coming! Horrayy!
Summer means – sunny trips to the beach and happy feelings all around.
I’ve been working on something for awhile now and I’m super excited to show you all what’s been keeping me occupied these past few weeks.
…but I can’t… not just yet anyway.
Well, maybe just a sneak peek. Shhh… don’t tell anyone!
Here’s a shot of my gorgeous model Chai, very last shot taken from that shoot. I was packing up, ready to head home and call it a day, when I looked up and I saw this. After screaming: “Wait wait wait don’t move!” and embarrassing everyone I had with me, Chai calmly smiled and two shots later I had this.
Then we all went out for pizza (yayy).
Oh how I love black and whites.
Titles are hard! So I copied Kryz’s title from her lookbook post of these pictures. Yayy!
I still have so much to learn when it comes to using my flash. I’ve had this shot in mind for awhile, just wasn’t sure how to make it happen. The shot above is my favorite, exactly what I wanted. But one shot later and the photo is not quite the same…
I still don’t know what happened :p
I read a post on DPS about on camera black and whites and I decided to give it a try. I’m pretty happy with the results.
Very minor tweaking in lightroom, just to add some depth to the image.
Would love to know what you think :)
