I’ve been in Manila one day and I’m a little shell shocked. There’s no way to really grasp the amount of devastation and loss until you see it for yourself. The place is like a ghost town, the streets are empty and everywhere we go the mood is somber. The worst part is, for so many people the nightmare’s not over. There are still people trapped in their homes waiting for the waters to recede. Or people who were rescued only to return home and find they have nothing left.
If you are in the Pasig area, UA&P will continue to accept donations in PROM A from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Volunteers are always welcome. Donations will proceed to the Red Cross Rizal Chapter and our UA&P staff and community.
For those in Katipunan you can go to the Ateneo covered courts to help out the Ateneo Task Force Ondoy.

Gear up for a great summer at Trumpets.
Trumpets Playshop offers teenagers and adults alike two brand-new class offerings – Acting for Film and Acting for Commercial Models. Its extensive selection of classes also includes Street Dancing, Basic Photography, Musical Theater, Public Speaking/Hosting, Belly-Dancing, Stage Make-Up and Modeling. Classes are taught by some of the industry’s biggest names, such as The Manoeuvres and Patrick Uy. With so many different classes to choose from, there’s certainly something for everyone.
For 16 years, Trumpets Playshop has been around to train children, teenagers, and even young adults, to discover new talents and hone existing ones. As a result, many of its graduates have moved on to further pursue their passions, some even successfully breaking into the entertainment industry, such as Sam Concepcion and Christian Bautista.
This year’s theme, Summer is Playshop, truly describes what Trumpets has in store for kids participating in a summer filled with fun and friendship, as well as ways to enhance their talents and skills.
Enrollment for Trumpets Playshop is currently ongoing. Workshops will be conducted in Shangri-La Plaza Mall, The Podium, the Fort and Alabang. For further inquiries, please call 635-4478/636-2842/631-7252, or 09178964034.

Finally have time to update, things have been supremely crazy since the baby arrived. It felt like the world stopped for a couple of days while we waited. Turns out it didn’t stop at all so now I’m going nuts just trying to catch up…
Back to Mikko and Sabs. On their 2nd day they were already working with Pokerstars. So I was only able to see them for dinner. Decided to take them to Angelinas.
First Japanese, now Italian. It’s like they weren’t even in Cebu haha! But who cares, good food, good friends, and an eager photographer makes for a great night
