Loved the Singapore Zoo when I went there! I also blogged about this and got Freshly Pressed. I hope Singaporeans appreciate how much of a wonderful zoo they have! None of the other zoos I have been to nearby my hometown compare to this. Did you attend the Night Safari?
I remember visiting a really nice place growing up but its not around anymore, Singapore zoo is really one of a kind. No we didn’t go for a night safari anymore, it was raining most of the nights we were there.
simply amazing , people always are so wrapped up that they dont appriciate the finer things in life …and youve deffo captured that with these stunning pictures……10 gold stars for you , keep up the good work ;) ………………………Adam Christopher
Thanks, Adam.
This makes me feel so happy! :D Thanks for sharing the joy! <3
I live in Singapore and used to go there very weekend when I was young. Haven’t gone in a couple years, though. You’ve inspired me to go there again! :)
Thanks, that’s so sweet of you to say :)
Reblogged this on Three Men & A Red Head.

The zoo is so amazing! I really wanna see the animals!
Congratulations on being Freshly Pressed!
awesome pics!
Thanks so much, yes it really was a great place to visit :)
This looks considerably better than Bangkok Zoo (which was still enjoyable with the addition of some light painkillers.. http://wanyasi.wordpress.com/2012/04/11/50/ )
Might have to check it out!
I went to Singapore Zoo this month too and by far it is the best zoo I have been to. These are some really lovely pictures :)
Thank you :D
This looks AWESOME! I’m heading there day after tomorrow!!! Love the pics! :)
Thank you. Hope you have a great time. :)
Loved the photo of Flamingo.
Thanks :D
I miss this! I was just there last Tuesday :))
You should go again! :)
Great captures of the animals!
I think I will visit a zoo this summer :D
You should go, it’s a great place to visit. Popped over to you blog and saw that you shoot w a x100. How is it? i’ve been thinking about getting one. :)
Thank you for visiting my blog!
I love my X100. Some people complain about the sluggishness of its autofocus in the dark but I don’t find it unusable. As for the autofocus in the daylight it’s fast enough I find.
It’s strongest point is obviously its portability. Compared D700 this thing doesn’t weigh anything… consequently I take it around with be everywhere I go (which in turn makes me take way more shots ;))
Also it is extremely quiet, if you are into street photography. No one will notice you are taking pictures, unless they are directly looking at you.
As for the ISO performance, I think it’s comparable to D700 and that’s saying a lot ;)
I personally like mine very much but I find that the opinion on this camera is very much divided with people who either love it or hate it :)
Thanks for all your help! I’m planning a quick hike up Mt. Pinatubo and though the view is supposedly spectacular I cringe at the idea of lugging around a heavy dslr with me. If I can afford it I’d definitely rather have the x100 with me!
Yup It is definitely a performer and super light weight!
A word of advice though, take an extra battery with you. I find usually the battery will not last one FULL day if you shoot a lot. I never ran out with two batteries though ;)
Very nice zoo, very nice pictures. I went there last year. congratulations
Thank you so much
I loved seeing these, what a treat. Thanks :)
Thanks for dropping by too!
