I’ve always wanted to try out levitation photography, it’s so playful and there’s something wonderfully fantasy-like about it. This was a first attempt, I made a lot of mistakes and learned a lot, can’t wait to try this again! x
It’s a good thing I read the comments.. I was really wondering how the models jumped to these positions without looking at all rumpled. But the photos look very realistic!
In the first photo she actually is jumping. I just shot her in a separate location then replaced the background. Isn’t she so graceful? It really looks like she’s levitating.

OHMGAYD. I’ve seen photos like these in tumblr and I racked my brains out on the hows… BTW, how? AMazing!!!
The way I did it was to take all the individual photos separately and then composite it together in Photoshop. x
is there any application that I can use? aside from photoshop? i never quite understand it.. :D
I’m sure there are others, wouldn’t be able to recommend any to you though as I use Photoshop. Maybe gimp?
